Have you ever wanted to be a fashion designer? Do you fancy having your designs worn by people across the world?

We’re excited to launch our very first t-shirt design contest for Primary and Secondary students! The winning designs will be featured on our t-shirts sold at the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project. Not only will you have the opportunity to show off your design skills, but you’ll be helping us raise vital funds for the work we do saving and rehabilitating gibbons. With many international visitors coming to see the work that we do, your t-shirt could find its way across the world!

We’re also excited to announce that the winning designs will also be featured in one of Phuket’s coolest lifestyle stores, Fins Phuket.

Contest Details:

• Categories: (1) Primary School Students(Prathom 1-6 or equivalent) (2) Secondary School Students (Matthayom 1-6 or equivalent)
• Eligibility: Open to all residents of Phuket, ages 6 to 18, regardless of nationality
• Entry Fee: 100 baht
• Closing Date: November 8th, 2024

How to Enter:

1. Download our template. You can create the design using a digital program like Photoshop, or hand draw the image.
2. Create a bold design that reflects our mission onto the template. The design will be printed on the front of a white t-shirt. Be creative with your designs- whether you choose to draw a gibbon, choose some cool typography or something completely wild; there’s no limit to what you can do. All designs must be original, please do not use any copyrighted imagery.
3. Submit your design with the 100 baht entry fee by 8th November through one of these methods:
   3.1 Upload on our website (please assure high quality scans)
   3.2 Deliver to the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project
   3.3 Submit through your school (if participating)
4. The three finalists will be announced on our social media on November 15th. Online voting will be available for a week, and the two winners—one from the primary grade and one from the secondary grade—will be announced on November 23rd.

Judging:

Your designs will be judged by our panel, including representatives from GRP and Finns Phuket. Your designs will be judged on creativity and wearability. The top three designs in each category will be uploaded onto social media, where they will be voted on by the public.

Let your creativity run wild and help us make a difference at GRP. Remember, the coolest designs are the ones you’d want to wear yourself!

Prizes:

Winners will see their designs on t-shirts sold at the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project and Finns, along with their own t-shirt and a gibbon themed goodie bag!

Notes:

• There is no limit to how many times you may enter, however each entry will cost 100 baht.
• We reserve the right to digitally alter, while maintaining the integrity, of the final designs to increase suitability for printing. Designs will be printed onto a white t-shirt.
